Welcome to Warrior Tai Chi. This site is for the Warrior Scholar. We do not condone violence and the conquest of others. We believe in self development. We believe in the conquest of our own personal mental, physical and spiritual self thru the study of Tai Chi Chuan.

I have studied Martial Arts all of my life. I have boxed competitively, and have studied several Asian martial arts. I have black belts in Tang So Do and Bujinkan Ninjutsu.

I have had to put my martial arts training using on the street, as a bouncer, body guard and in combat.

I was a Close Combat Instructor in the United States Marine Corps for eighteen years of my twenty years of active duty.

So many people have helped me, the Tai Chi community has been very welcoming. I have been helped by so many practitioners at White Park in Riverside California, the Temple City Library Park in Temple City, California and Lee Schelee’s Push Hands Group at Pinkely Park in Costa Mesa, California.

I have been given group and private lessons from the late Sifu Paul Olivas, Sifu Gerald Sharp, Sifu Jerry Yuan, Sifu Richard Clear and Sifu Anthony Ho.

I believe in Karma and feel I have an obligation to pass on the depth of knowledge that has been given to me.

The goal of this website is to help your in your study of Tai Chi in depth.

My study of Tai Chi as included the health and combat aspects, to include meditation, Qigong, Push Hands and Tui Na. Taiji has been a major blessing in my life and I hope it will be in yours also!

If your ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to answer them.

All the best,

Ty Talbert
